Privacy Policy
Autobidder ("Autobidder", "we") is a browser extension that finds Freelancer.com projects, writes proposals with an AI provider you choose, and bids for you on your own Freelancer.com account. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Freelancer.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who it is shared with.
What we store on our server
- Account: your email address, an optional country, and your password, stored only as a secure hash. We email you to confirm your address and to reset your password.
- Freelancer account: the user id and username of the Freelancer.com account you connect, because your plan, free trial and daily bid limit belong to that Freelancer account.
- Devices: a name such as "Chrome on Windows", the extension version, and when it was last used, so your settings stay in step across computers and signing out ends that computer's session.
- Settings: your extension settings (for example skills, bio, filters and tone), including the signature name and image used to sign NDA and IP agreements, so they follow you to another computer.
- History: your bids and proposals, the projects worth a bid and what the bot did with them, warnings and errors from the activity log, your totals, and client messages with the replies and follow-ups drafted or sent, so your history is there on every computer you sign in on. Skipped projects, poll decisions and routine log lines stay in your browser only.
- Uninstall survey: if you remove the extension, a page asks why. The answer is anonymous: only the reason you choose, anything you type, and the extension version.
- Autobidder AI bids: your bids left, the packs you bought, the bids used, and for each AI call its purpose, token counts and cost.
- Plan and orders: your plan, when it ends, and your Pro orders: the order number, period, price, and when you have paid, the amount and the UPI or PayPal transaction reference. Payments themselves happen in UPI apps or PayPal; we never see your bank, card or PayPal login.
- Feedback: bug reports and feature requests you send, with any links you add.
What never leaves your browser
- Your Freelancer.com access token and login.
- Your AI provider API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI).
- The Live / Dry run switch.
Who else receives data
- Freelancer.com: the extension reads projects and places bids, questions and messages on your Freelancer.com account, from your browser, as you set it up.
- Autobidder AI, if you choose it: the same project details, profile and messages pass through our server to OpenAI, which writes the answer with our account. We keep how many tokens each call used and what it cost, not the text.
- Your AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, with your own API key): project details, your profile and portfolio, and client messages you ask it to answer, so it can rate projects and write proposals and replies. That provider's privacy policy applies.
- ntfy.sh, only if you turn on phone notifications: short alert texts (for example the project title of a new bid) are sent to the topic you choose.
- WhatsApp, only if you contact us there: the message you send, which may include your email, Freelancer username and order number.
- Our email provider, to send account emails to your address.
How we use your data
Only to provide the service: sign you in, sync your settings and history, apply your plan, process orders, and answer support requests. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising or credit decisions, and do not let people read it except to provide support you ask for, for security, or when the law requires it.
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is open. History is deleted automatically: activity and log entries after 7 days, client messages after 90 days, and bids after 1 year on Pro or 90 days otherwise. Email us at ahmadraza001912@gmail.com to delete your account and everything stored with it. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it kept in your browser.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and sign-in tokens expire and are revoked when you sign out.
